Murphy is awakened by his “Bad to the Bone” alarm clock on his phone so he can start his day. “Oh wow I got a major headache. I probably shouldn’t have ate all that junk food last night, but what can I say? It was Friday night and I wanted something cheap and greasy. It ain’t my fault that Chinese food hits so good after a long Friday’s work. Needless to say, my arms and legs feel heavy like weights have been tied to my limbs so every time I move I feel a jolt of pain.”

The aching Murphy walks towards his bathroom door and nudges it open. As he turn on the bathroom light his eyes are pained by the brightness. “Gosh I feel like I’m a bought to melt. I guess drinking all that Pepsi with that greasy Chinese food didn’t help either.” Murphy then brushes his teeth and takes a shower so he can get dressed and begin his day. After putting his clothes on and walking out of his front door he hood in his car and begins his dash. “Alrighty. The suns out, buns out, orders bring the funds out. Let’s do this thingy.”

Murphy opened his dasher app and hit the dash button to begin. Just seconds after opening it an order was chimed to his phone. “Okay, what’s this? Ah good. A McDonald’s order that says go two miles for seven dollars. That’s definitely a good way to start the morning. Let me pull into this parking lot and see what’s poppin’”. Murphy pulled into the parking lot of the busy McDonald’s and made his way inside. Upon entry he was greeted by the voice of the store manager, Odessa. “Hey Murph, you here for that door dash?” “Yes I am miss cutie-O” he replied playfully.

“I got it comin up for you in just a second, shug” Odessa concluded. She then walked over with a tightly sealed McDonald’s bag and handed it to Murphy. “Have a good day, Murph-baby and be safe out there.” “I sure will” Murphy replied as he took a picture of the order and quickly rushed out of the store. “Uh oh.” Murphy said to himself as he studied the order while getting in his car. “This is that creepy house that’s out in the sticks. Every time I go there I got a creepy set of eyes looking out at me through the window when I drop the order off on the porch. Since it’s early in the morning hopefully no one will be up enough to study me when I drop the order off.”

Murphy’s car starts approaching the graveled driveway of the woodened white house with boards on the windows. As he cautiously exits his car he notices something on the app. The order does not say “Leave at the door” like it normally does. This time it says “Hand it to the customer”. “Oh man, you mean I actually gotta look these weirdos in the face? This is gonna be fun.” Murphy grabs his taser gun from his dashboard and gets out of the car to slowly make his way to the door with the order in hand.

As he he approaches the front door he knocks lightly as he is greeted by someone with long hair peeking half way from the other side of the door. “Thank you.” the reserved older way greets as she reaches to take the bag from Murphy. “You’re welc-“ before Murphy can finish the older woman quickly grabs his arm and pulls him into the dark house where he is tripped to the floor. “Whoa lady what the hell is your problem?” Murphy asks in an angry confusion.

He looks up above and finds a rugged older man hovering over him with a needle. “Oh crap!” Murphy utters. As the old man reaches down in a stabbing motion, Murphy quickly draws his taser from his pocket and stuns the man with it, causing him to fall to the ground. Murphy then looks ahead and finds the older woman charging towards him and stuns her as well as she falls to the ground in pain.

As Murphy rises to his feet and runs for the door he looks back and sees his wallet on the ground between the groaning couple and quickly hood over them to retrieve it. “Let me get the hell out of here!” He exclaimed while running out the front door and into his car. As he drives off he feels in his pocket and noticed that his wallet was already in his pocket. “Wait that wasn’t my wallet I picked up it was theirs.” Murphy opens the wallet and finds a stack of 100 dollar bills which quickly cuts the tension he was just feeling. “Okay, I may just almost been drugged and taken captive, but before I go tell the cops about this I’m takin this stacn of C-notes and making myself a few hundred dollars richer.”
