A Snacktime Sonata

Introduction

Because Vocal has used the word "Sonata" in the challenge title I thought I would create a poem, using the sonnet form, of snacks and sweets that have a musical connection, preferably classical.

I will integrate some music into the piece to separate the verses.

Everything Stops For Tea, A Scone With Jam And Cream

But Should It Be Cream On First, Or Should It Be Jam?

That Is The Question, You Know The Taste Is A Dream

Sweet Strawberry Jam, Is A Delight, Thank You Ma'am

I Still Love A Mars Bar, And I Did As A Child

Delicious Fusion Of Chocolate, Caramel and Nougat.

Lose The Wrapper, One Bite Will Send My Tastebuds Wild

And When I Have Had One I Would Love Another

I Love A Box Of Chocolates, So Much To Choose

Terry's Moonlight Was A Favourite From My Youth

Milk And Plain Chocolate, Orange Cream Tasted Smooth

And You All Know I Still Have A Very Sweet Tooth

So What Wonderful Snack Will I Enjoy Today?

And You Know That Is A Mystery, Who Can Say?
