Her world was
monotone
monochromatic
emotions were things
that other people had
that she was taught
to keep
quietly snuffed
then a violin played
and her music
started trickling out
of hidden places
startling her
suppressed senses
color started dripping
onto her monochrome
framework
music permeating
her monotone
thoughts
as the bow
glided across
her heart
ever so gently
it turned her
jaded soul
into a
kaleidoscope of
emotions
feelings
sensations
awakening
the untold her.
