A Poem

The hurt,

It seeps deep inside me,

Finding every crevase of my soul.

***

How could you do this to me?

Rip my heart out and then just leave,

Like you never existed.

***

Now I am here alone,

On scraped knees,

Picking up the pieces of what you broke.

Such a powerful and emotional piece. My heart aches from this vivid imagery.
