What a Difference: Capitals Become 1st to Clinch
This is what I've been waiting all month for. While I always celebrate NHL March Madness on the first of the month, the calendar turning from February to March only marks the beginning of things being interesting in the NHL season. Plus, I'm still kinda used to the regular season ending in early April, instead of mid-April. But even so, there is nothing like that first clinch of the season, and that's in any sport. While things in the final month of any sport's season get interesting, it's not until the moment where the first playoff spot is clinched that things get real.

Same Time in June?
I often have hopes that this would be the Stanley Cup Final some day. These two teams are good enough to get that far. We saw the Colorado Avalanche get there three years ago and win it. The Toronto Maple Leafs are good enough to get there, too; don't let talking heads and jealous Edmonton Oilers fans fool you. This meeting is a tale of two teams heading in different directions. The Avs are among the hottest teams in the league, while the Leafs have been descending, going from first place to third place in two weeks. This includes the first meeting this season, which saw the Leafs go up 4-2 before surrendering five unanswered goals.

Scared Straight
It was a typical Monday for Erica Harrell, as she was seated at her desk, in her fifth period English class, fast asleep. Erica's passion was less about learning and attending classes, and more about attending the latest wrestling event. Erica was supposed to do a big weekend assignment, but she couldn't help but attend that event, especially since the event featured a wrestler known as Queen Chaos, one of the most feared villainesses in women's wrestling.

Reviewing John Cena's Wild Heel Promo
The last time John Cena was heel, I was 18. It was months after I received my high school diploma, and I was just starting college. Today, I turn the big 4-0. And one day prior, I received an early birthday present: Cena kicking things off in heel fashion. 21 years. That's long fans waited for a John Cena heel turn. That's also how long I, a diehard Colorado Avalanche fan, waited for a Stanley Cup. My wish got fulfilled first.

Simpsons Review: "Homer vs. the Eighteenth Amendment"
Happy St. Patrick's Day! I love this holiday for a few reasons. For one, it's one day before my birthday. Also, it's a green day, and you know I have green--it comes with being a Packers fan. And one of the reasons why I love St. Patrick's Day is because of the episode of The Simpsons that I am about to review. Despite the long time the show's been on, despite the many things that can be disputed, this is one thing that can't be disputed: this episode, "Homer vs. the Eighteenth Amendment," is my all-time favorite.

"Beyond The Gates" Week 3 Review
We are now three weeks into the walking phenomenon known as Beyond the Gates, and boy is it getting delicious. The plot continues to thicken faster than my anticipation for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and that's saying something. I know I sound like a broken record for saying this, but I'll repeat it here: the soap opera genre needed this. Badly. So many twists, turns, detours, and all else took place in the last week of this show, so let's get to it, shall we?

Stanley Cup Playoff Push 2025: One Down, 31 to Go
Well, hockey fans, we are now passing the midpoint of the month of March, and so many things have developed. Seriously, this is an amazing month to be a sports fan, but it's especially a great month to be a hockey fan. So many teams have great chances to become part of the NHL's Sweet 16, and that means a lot of the games have so much meaning. Right now, the season has 32 days left, just barely over a month. And not only is the NHL coming down to the wire, so is the NBA, and the tournaments will start in college hoops, and baseball is almost here. Also, the UFL will start up in just under two weeks. Again, March is an amazing month to be a sports fan.

Possession is Nine-Tenths Above the Law
For Nadine Warren, her long ordeal was over. It was supposed to be a happy time for Nadine. She and her husband, Josh Foster, moved into an elegant home--somewhat old-fashioned look, but elegant. The move was part of the couple celebrating a year of wedded bliss, and they were very much in love, acting like the newlyweds they were.

The Race Tightens
The Colorado Avalanche's winning streak was snapped on Tuesday, but the points streak remains, as the loss in Minnesota was via shootout. The Avs are still red hot and moving closer to the Dallas Stars in the Central Division standings. Next up, the two-game road trip concluded with a visit to Calgary against the Flames--the Avs' final trip to Western Canada this regular season. In this game, both teams are fighting for something. The Avs are trying to keep pace with the Dallas Stars, but the Flames are trying to hold to their very small advantage over the Vancouver Canucks in the playoff race.

Rite of Passage
For Elena Ochoa, this was quite a 21st birthday. She had been training to become a professional wrestler since she turned 18, but overall, this had been a dream for her since she was six. Elena had a few matches in the indies, but the bout she had was the perfect definition of the phrase, "baptism by fire."

Unveiled
The day had finally arrived. After many months of planning, getting all of the details right, and all sorts of other intangibles, it was finally here. Shayla Gibson and Trevor Paxton were finally going to have their wedding. Shayla had been waiting for this day for the longest time. She had been in love with Trevor for years, and it was a year prior that Trevor reciprocated Shayla's romantic feelings, resulting in their relationship, eventual engagement, and now, the big moment--the day that Trevor and Shayla would say "I do" to each other, and officially become husband and wife at last.
