Jordan Reyne - Maiden, Mother, Crone
Introduction To An Amazing Artist - Jordan Reyne Jordan Reyne is still the most jaw-dropping artist I have discovered, In 2014 I went to see The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing (one of the best live bands you can ever see) and Think Tank in Newcastle, and when I got in there was a girl with horns like some pagan sylph on stages sing to a echoplex loop of her own voice on stage. I didn't know who it was, but I think the song was “The Shadow Line”. You can read about the gig here on the Spoongig blog

Six Hundred Vocal Stories
Introducing An Addiction To Writing And Sharing On Vocal This is my six hundredth story on Vocal, well it will be posted as my six hundredth story. I am preparing it before number five hundred and ninety-nine is published. Because I cannot guarantee the order in which my stories will be published I need to hit five hundred and ninety-nine then submit this on its own and wait for it to be published, The only slight problem is if I have to ask for an older story to be moved to draft which will then cause this to drop back to five hundred and ninety-nine, but that is the nature of the beast.

Stories My Dad Told Me
Introduction This was originally for the Vocal “Dads Are No Joke” Challenge being judged by Nikesh Shukla but I am entering it into the "Fathers Footprints" one below as well. I may write another left-field entry that refers to this.

Nightfall
Introduction This is a short series of stories based on stories shared with me by Vocal friends. The fourth one is from James Khaos and is called Nightfall a Sanguine Universe origin story of Desire and Power. This is the story that means I can post my six hundredth Vocal Story one this one is published. So this is a very tenuous link but “Nightfall” suggests Night to me and I am going to list a few books and films that the word brings to my mind. My last story was a little difficult because I set myself the task of describing a 45 second sequence, but surprisingly there was so much in the video that, although it took me past midnight to complete, I managed to even impress myself, though I am not sure that I will impress anyone else with it.

Around The Clock
Introduction This is a short series of stories based on stories shared with me by Vocal friends. The third one is from Oneg Kushir and is called When Worlds Collide and this is another for the Vocal Fantasy Prologue Challenge. There are a lot of time references in this story and that made me think of the wonderful opening sequence to the BBC’s “Around The World In Eighty Days” series which obviously refers to time as it is based on a wonderful animated clock sequence.
