The Coming Redundancy of Streaming Entertainment Services
Many who have actually experienced going to video rental centers such as BlockBuster and can actually be saddened by their downfall, have compared it to the decrease of visitation to public libraries. Being able to hold a copy of whatever you were checking out in your hand, had a certain charm that the conveniences of streaming can't quite live up to. This is why it saddens me further when I say that entertainment streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, aren't going to have those conveniences which made the trade worth it, within the next few years.

MCU Phase 4 Predictions!
Avengers: End Game will be launching into theatres on the 26th of April of this year and with the release of this movie comes the end of the MCU phase three and the beginning of phase four. There has been a lot of theorizing between Marvel fans of which of our beloved heroes will be losing the second bout against Thanos and not making it through the next film. Some of the heroes involved in phase three of the MCU will not be carried on to the next phase.

The House Appreciation Series: Ravenclaw
The first house that I was ever sorted into was Ravenclaw. I was absolutely thrilled because this happened during the era of the Potter fandom where Gryffindor was still considered mainstream, Slytherin was the bad guys, and Hufflepuff was nearly nonexistent. In my mind, Ravenclaw was perfectly unique — and I wanted more than anything to stand out.

Should Marvel Release Another 'Avengers Endgame' Trailer?
December 7, 2018 surprised us all with the unexpected trailer to Avengers Endgame. Many fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) had been eagerly waiting for not only the trailer to the film but the title too. Since the release of Avengers Infinity War, Marvel has been extremely secretive about what will happen in Endgame. After Infinity War audiences were left on a massive cliff-hanger with no secure idea on how things will go forward from that point. The Endgame trailer was just as ambiguous, not giving away many (or any) spoilers for the actual film, continuing to leave fans in the dark as to what to expect. The simple trailer created such massive impact and increased the eagerness to know the outcome of this 10-year franchise; therefore, could Marvel be just as successful without adding another trailer into their marketing plans?

Who Would Win? John Wick, The Punisher, or Batman?
A friend of mine asked me very serious question the other day. “Who would win? John Wick, the Punisher, or Batman?” Now this was hard, we already knew Keanu Reeves is the infamous John Wick; but I wanted to know which Batman, and also which Punisher? So we settled on Jon Bernthal's The Punisher, and Ben Affleck's Batman.

'True West'
Austin (Paul Dano) is the mild brother, a Hollywood screenwriter holed up in his mother's house and working away at his newest screenplay. Lee (Ethan Hawke) is the wild brother, a desert rat and sometimes thief, with a long history of problems.

'THELONIOUS!' with Remington Moses Challenges the American Dream at the Theater for the New City
Whenever there's a discussion on the merits of the American Dream, a reference to Ozzie and Harriet is never far behind. Remington Moses knows this first hand as the great granddaughter of the iconic TV stars. So not playing along with the fantasy has been an unavoidable focal point of her entire existence. “I think my whole life as a human being has been talking about the fallacy,” said Moses. As a result, the irony of landing a lead role in the play THELONIOUS! by Peter Welch is not lost on her.

Most Anticipated Movies, TV, and Video Games for 2019 ('Blerdin Out' Podcast Season 2)
(Writer's note: I took advantage of Vocal's Deal with Sonix so the following text beneath was pulled from our podcast.) Welcome to season 2 of Blerdin Out!! Season 1 was kind of short order. I am the person to blame for us not getting more episodes in season one. I decided to pack up and move across country and start a new life and new career in the good, old Virginia DC area. So I'm in the DMV area, but we're here because we kind of felt like starting the year off. We thought this would be the perfect time for us to come back. Listen to Shay and Gary count down the biggest things to look forward to in 2019.
