When will we be done with leopard print?
I just can't do it. I don't care if it's a pair of flats or a tee shirt or a frickin scrunchy: I cannot force myself to buy leopard print. I sort of understand that tacky is the new trendy, and I get that fashion is all about pushing boundaries but... really? Animal print? To me this is like every the film industry decides to make the four millionth Spiderman movie instead of a good Steel Magnolias remake: I just think, "but... why?"

Fabric History: Lace
Lace is a delicate fabric created from thread to create a web like pattern. The threads originally used were gold and silver coloured silk but nowadays are predominantly made with white cotton thread. Lace is made by looping, plaiting and twisting threads independent of any woven surface. Lace making is a highly skilled and time consuming process. In some cases, only a few centimetres of fabric can be produced per day by hand.
