Chapter 1: The Queen is Dead... Again
If you haven't read it yet, make sure you read the following chapters first: Prologue: The Mad King Jonathan was lying in a large bed, naked, sweat dripping off him. His breaths were deep, ragged, his wild eyes staring at the woman that lay next to him. Her mouth was open, her teddy-bear brown eyes open, blank, and lifeless. He let out a deep laugh, satisfaction spreading through him as the warm glow of his orgasm faded away from his stomach.

"I am a worthwhile human being.". Content Warning.
One of my biggest enemies is myself. I have a hard time looking in the mirror and not being literally sick to my stomach at the sight of myself. My ex-husband made it a point to let me know that I was disgusting and he was ashamed to be seen with me.

The First Stories
I remember, somewhere between childhood and awkward teenage years, I went from being an avid reader to an avid writer. I thank my high school friends for this transition. They introduced me to anime, manga, and fanfiction. Fanfiction.net was approximately where I started attempting to write coherent stories under the penname Amery Aquaisha. I know, what an alias, right?

"Long Live The Pumpkin Queen"
The book Long Live The Pumpkin Queen by Shea Ernshaw is a sweet and enthralling sequel to the Tim Burton's movie "Nightmare Before Christmas." It has a powerful theme of growth, courage, loyalty, bravery, and staying true to one's self, no matter where you go, or what situation you're in.

The Dark Before the Dawn
It was darkness. I was lost. Wandering through my life just existing, instead of living. Therapy had helped after the abuse of my ex-husband, but really it had only helped me cope with the dark thoughts that had manifested from the things he made me believe for years.

List of Books That Inspired Me To Write
Growing up, if I wasn't playing outside, in school, or doing homework, you could bet you'd find me curled up somewhere, reading a big book. I don't know when I decided I wanted to write stories, all I know is one day in middle school I began to write stories of my own.

Publishing your book through a Publisher
Every would-be writer's dream would be to write a book, publish it, get a movie deal, and live life like Dean Koontz. Mine included. So when I finished my book, Memoirs of the In-Between, and it was accepted by Page Publishing on the first submission, I was beyond the moon.
